PFM Engineering Services is a multi-faceted project management services company. We offer a range of services to clients, helping them to achieve strategic business growth and project objectives by providing services that include bespoke project management and CDM site management.
Founded in 2011, we have successfully managed around £50million of projects for clients in several industry sectors, though our core business is the provision of our services to the food/drinks manufacturing industry.
Our project management expertise is harnessed by clients who don’t have in-house project management resources. We provide the short-term project skills they require, and often act as the liaison between our client and contractors, thus enabling the client to focus on business as usual.
We work predominantly onsite, and we also offer third-party CDM site management services to provide clients with the Principal Contractor role that is required under CDM regulations. This ensures that there is no conflict of interest between safety aspects and project progress by the main contractor carrying out the work if they are also the Principal Contractor.
Being onsite also allows us to offer a procurement service. This enables clients to access services quickly from suppliers with whom they do not have an existing preferred supplier relationship.
Our interim management service is suitable for any company that requires external expertise for up to six months. Ideal should an unexpected event or crisis arise – for example your existing project manager quits during a project, or you require a fast start to a project but have not yet allocated resources to it.
Finally, and in response to a growing need within industry, we are developing a range of professional training packages to improve knowledge and capabilities across CDM knowledge and skills and project management fundamentals. This training can be delivered at client sites, independent classrooms, and remotely.
